5.3 Key area of intervention
The eligible projects within this area aim to creating National Centers for Tourism Information and Promotion and their equipping, the development of the national tourism brand, promoting specific products and supporting the marketing activities.
Within this key area of intervention funded are projects
included in three operations:
- Creating a positive image for Romania as tourism destination by
defining and promoting the national tourism brand;
- Developing and consolidating internal tourism by promoting
specific tourism products and marketing activities;
- Establishing National Centers for Tourism Information and
Promotion (NCTIP) and their equipping.
Approximate financial allocation for this area of intervention
of the Bucharest-Ilfov region is of 13.32 million Euros.
The open project call was launched on September, 11th 2008. The
Intermediary Body for this Area of intervention (5.3) is the
Ministry of Tourism (www.mturism.ro).
