4.2. Key area of intervention
Objective: rehabilitation of the abandoned industrial sites with the view to attract investments, revive and develop local and regional economies.
Categories of eligible beneficiaries:
- Urban or rural local public administration authorities
- Partnerships between the local public administration authorities
in the urban or rural environment
Eligible informative activities within the
project:
Phase A) Rehabilitation of the polluted site
- Decontamination of the polluted sites lands, taking over and
depositing the toxic and dangerous substances and improving the
quality of the lands included;
- Demolishing the buildings and evening the land, wrapping and
transporting the waste included;
Phase B) Preparation of the rehabilitated site for new
activities
- Construction/modernization/extension of the buildings for new
production and service provision activities;
- Construction/extension of the road infrastructure within the
business and access roads structures;
- Establishment/modernization/extension of the basic utilities
within the business support structure: water treatment plants,
energy and gas supply units, sewerage system, access to broadband
networks, wiring the building included;
- Equipping the already established/modernized/extended businesses
support structures.
Approximate financial allocation for this area of intervention
of the Bucharest-Ilfov region is of 20.85 million Euros.
The open project call for the 4.2 key area of intervention was
launched on April, 25th 2008.
