Project registration suspended for the 4.1 KAI

Objective: establishing, improving and modernizing the regional and local business support structures with the view to attracting investments, reviving and developing local and regional economies.

Categories of eligible beneficiaries:
- Urban or rural local public administration authorities;
- Partnerships between the local public administration authorities;
- Chambers of commerce and industry;
- Associations representing the business environment;
- Trading or cooperative companies fitting the SME-s category having developed their activity for a period corresponding to at least one full fiscal year

Eligible activities within the project:
- Construction/modernization/extension of buildings and related annexes intended to be used by economic operators, especially SME-s, for production and/or service provision activities;
- Construction/modernization/ extension of the road/railway infrastructure within the business support and access road structures;
- Establishment/modernization/ extension of the basic utilities within the business support structure: water treatment plants, energy and gas supply units, sewerage system, connection to broadband networks, building wiring included;
- Equipping the already established/modernized/extended businesses support structures.

Approximate financial allocation for this area of intervention of the Bucharest-Ilfov region is of 24.31 million Euros.
The open project call for the 4.1 key area of intervention was launched on April, 25th 2008.
