A new financial allocation through REGIO for Bucharest-Ilfov

The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency ( BIRDA) made it public the opening of a new call with continuous submission in order to access the financial allocation of 80 million Euros for investments in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, through priority axis 1 of REGIO - Regional Operational Program in the rehabilitation of the urban infrastructure and development of urban services, rehabilitation of the social infrastructure and sustainable development of the business environment.

The cities with over 10,000 inhabitants located in the Ilfov county, in the Municipality of Bucharest or in the districts of the Municipality of Bucharest may request funding.

Categories of eligible applicants: Administrative-territorial (town/municipality) unit ATU in the urban environment, Intercommunity development association (IDA), Partnership between ATU in the urban environment and the Ilfov County/the Municipality of Bucharest. The applicant must prepare Integrated Plans of Urban Development (IPUD) whose objective is to regenerate certain urban action zones with a minimum of 10,000 inhabitants.

The total value of a project depends on the specifics of the investments and covers amounts between:
a) 1,700,000 LEI and 90,000,000 LEI;
b) 1,700,000 LEI and 85,000,000 LEI;
c) 350,000 LEI and 3,500,000 LEI.
The minimum contribution of the applicant to the total value of the eligible expenses is of 2%.
